I know I have been terribly remiss in updating this blog. However, I have been working on one of my dreams before I turn 30, an extension of my craft adventures - La Petit Cadeau. I hope you will join me in this new adventure. I have listed below all the places where you can learn more of this new endeavor. Have a great week ahead everyone!

mason jars and roses
...pretty much appear on every page of this mini-album from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection. I love this collection and I love how this mini-album turned out. I gave it as a gift to a friend to cheer her up. Let me know what you think, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Enjoy the rest of the week.

mixed media adventures
It started with the mixed media canvas I created for the Craft Soiree and afterwards, I couldn't stop playing with paints, canvas, stamps and my scrapbook goodies. Did I also mention that I discovered my love for gel medium with this project?
Here's a 6x6 altered mixed media canvas I created featuring a dress form. There are still a lot of elements in this project inspired by the small canvas - the colors, the handmade flowers and yes, the ubiquitous washi tape.
This is a slightly bigger canvas, an 8x8. I played around with shades of pink, green and blue. Aside from the flowers and the script background, I also used the new HeyKessy washi tapes.
I also completed a wall hanging for a friend as a birthday gift. I dabbled with pastels and molding paste. I do hope my friend liked it.
Finally, I got my first custom order for an 8x6 name tag with a vintage travel theme. This was a challenge for me especially because I rarely make travel-themed projects and these are colors I don't usually work with. Anyway, I'm glad the client loved it and someone already approached me for another custom name tag order. Crossing my fingers that there would be more opportunities like these for me.

keeping promises
As promised, I'm sharing pictures of the entire album that I created for the PS Mini Album Grab A Swap. It reflects a lot of the things I love - vibrant colors, a shabby chic vibe and lots and lots of details from pockets, tags to the birds and the flowers. I'm also happy my swap partner loved the album. Anyway, I hope you like the album as well and have a great week ahead.

of albums and a craft soiree
Once again, I have a backlog of projects that I want to share. I'm not optimistic that I'll improve anytime soon in updating my blog especially since I started with my first class for MBA already. Like the geek I've always been, I'm enjoying schoolwork and I'm happy to be learning a lot.
Anyway, here's a rundown of what I've been up to, craft-wise, in pictures.
Last July, my friend's baby was baptized and I was one of the godmothers. The event styling was done by Pepperfy, a little crafting venture my friends and I started. We created the souvenirs, decors like the pompoms, flower pots and banners, and the guestbook.
I also attended my first, and hopefully not my last craft soiree last August 18. It also coincided with my first day of class so I was only able to drop by for less than an hour. The event was held in Pino restaurant and there were around 30 crafters who participated.
Alessa writes about it here as well as the other participants like starsfordreams who talks about her loot and the loot she didn't get and designsofartisan. I already signed up for the next one in December and I'm crossing my fingers that I'll be able to attend.
For my project, I altered a mini-canvas by painting and stamping on it then finally embellishing it with hand-made flowers and diecuts. This my first attempt at a multi-media project so I was very apprehensive about how it would turn out when I started. In the end, I'm happy with how it turned out.

I also participated in the PS Mini Album Grab a Swap which concluded last night. I created an 8x8 album using the Pink Paislee Spring Jubilee line. I love the vibrant colors of this line and I was able to integrate a lot of my favorite things in this mini as well as several techniques I learned online. I have yet to take pictures of the entire mini but for now, I'd like to share the cover.
Finally, I want to share a Love mini-album I created a while back using The Girls' Paperie Vintage Whimsy line.
I hope you enjoyed viewing my projects. I'll try to update with the other projects I'm working on. Have a great week ahead.
